The country's most beloved sailing vessel
(it's image graces the Canadian dime),
it is one of a small number
of "tall ships" still plying the seas.
She is berthed at Halifax and serves as
Nova Scotia's marine ambassador to the world.

in the south-central part of the province on the Atlantic Ocean.
Founded in 1749, it served as an important
naval base in the American Revolution, the War of 1812,
and both World Wars.
