Ktaadn (Mt. Katahdin, Maine)

"Man is born to die.
His works are short-lived.
Buildings crumble, monuments decay, wealth vanishes.
But Katahdin in all its glory forever shall remain the mountain of the people of Maine."
Percival Baxter
