The Clark Fork River
becomes broad, beautiful and very boatable just
a few miles downstream from Thompson Falls, Montana.
Not far from its departure from The Big Sky Country
as the states largest river,
having accepted the contents of the
Blackfoot, Bitterroot, St. Regis, Flathead, and the Thompson Rivers.
